Over the last couple of months I’ve added several knitting blogs to my bloglines list. Lately I haven’t had a whole lot of time to read them, but I thought I should add them to my blogroll here and give a few a special mention. After all, people spend a lot of time and effort to put themselves out there in cyber land…
First, The Lumpy Sweater. This is a teen knitter with a sense of humor and loads of energy. She is busy organizing other teen knitters and events. I wish her all the best in her knitting adventures.
Adventures with the Slowest Knitter is always a fun read. She’s so busy with knitting and spinning and just plain living!
Squirrelly Knits got my attention when she had a pattern published on knitty.com. Her blog is so readable and I’m looking forward to her next design. I’m definitely going to make her lovely vest.
Fiber Dreams must be mentioned because of her beautiful designs. As soon as I finish my socks I’m trying one of her designs.
I really appreciate someone who just puts herself out there. Sleep is for Suckers is just that. It’s not glamorous, but it’s real.
And how can you argue with a site that has the tag line: “We might knit, but we won’t take your shit”. That would be the Bad Knit Girls of course. Tattoo optional.
How can I not mention Cookie and Kristi’s blog? Cookie of the fabulous Pomatomus and other great designs. They are at Knitters Anonymous.
This is not the complete list. I’ll post more when I’ve had more time to read more.
