I’ve never knit anything lace. I’ve never even wanted to. I don’t wear lace. But then along came Ravelry and all the amazing things that people have made are available for browsing. I am continually amazed by the creativity and talent out there in the world. I stumbled upon this
.flickr-photo { border: solid 2px #000000; } .flickr-yourcomment { } .flickr-frame { text-align: left; padding: 3px; } .flickr-caption { font-size: 0.8em; margin-top: 0px; }
and fell in love. It’s made by timiat on Ravelry (you have to be signed up there to see her pages). Her blog is here. After seeing this lovely lace I went straight to the designer’s website and bought the pattern. Then went here and bought the yarn – JaggerSpun Zephyr 2/18 lace weight yarn.
It’s almost as thin and light as a spider’s web. Now, how do I slip this in to the list of other projects on my to-do list??

I’m so glad my humble little shawl inspired you!
