Yesterday I talked about the cold and how it was too cold to take photos. What a baby. Today I make up for it by showing you photos I took today in Amsterdam. It’s still cold, but maybe not quite as cold as yesterday.
This morning I had a dentist appointment. Yeah, yeah, that’s right. Another dentist appointment. I only had to have a filling fixed, but still. When he finished the work he said “Well, see you at the end of the year for your yearly checkup!” I crossed my fingers, knocked on wood, and threw salt over my shoulder hoping that maybe this time he’d be right. I never seem to make it a whole year without dental work. I told a guy at work today that I’m surprised my mouth doesn’t set off metal detectors.
Anyway, one good thing about going to the dentist first thing in the morning is that it’s daylight when I leave the dentist and head to the office, which means…photos! The first one is taken outside the dentist office and the rest were taken while walking between the train station and the public library.
Such fantastic scenery to start the day. The bottom one is just lovely!
Mooi mooi!!!
Stunning! We toyed with the idea of visiting Amsterdam on Saturday but decided it was too cold and ended up just going for a short walk and then off to Wageningen for a hot chocolate in the Hema… (sad case here managed to visit the Hema 7 times in 4 days! we looked like a walking Hema advert towards the end 😉
Prachtig deze foto’s!
I was born in Amsterdam but I am living in Drenthe for more than 20 years now. I don’t want to go back but get a warm feeling seeing these pictures.
