These socks were designed by ME and are going to be in the Early Fall 2011 edition of Vogue Knitting!  I’m soooo excited to see my socks in print!

They are knit toe-up in a half-brioche stitch, with calf shaping built into the stitch pattern.  The yarn is Madelinetosh Tosh Sock in color Alabaster.  You can also, of course, knit them as calf length if you don’t like knee socks.  I was excited to design knee socks because there aren’t so many patterns out there for long socks, and the challenge of calf shaping was interesting to solve.

I hope to see lots of my socks knit up in the near future.  The magazine goes on sale on news stands on June 7th.

I’m also just about finished with another long sock pattern, so stay tuned to this channel for more lovely socks!

O I posted a link on your Facebook page – visited a nice yarn shop in Holland last week, thought you might like it too.
