Follow me on Instagram and Ravelry and I also have a FaceBook page Under Dutch Skies.
I grew up in California but I’ve been living in Europe since 1992 (except for a few years in SoCal – what was I thinking?). I live in the Netherlands and often post photos of day to day life on Instagram. This blog is now dedicated to my craft pursuits.
I have been sewing since the age of 8. Knitting since a teenager. Started dyeing yarn and fiber with friends in Amsterdam. Spinning came to me late in life, but soon became a big influence in my crafting life and now I have 5 spinning wheels in the house. I’d like to try my hand at quilting and pottery. And I’ve taken up accordion playing but you won’t read about that on the blog!
I so enjoy your posts on instagram! Beautiful foto’s. I am dreaming of the wonderful wol/zijde combination lont wol you had ! Do you know of anyone in the Netherlands who has it? Have fun nesting in den helder! groetjes from Shelley in Haarlem (we were almost neighbours!)

Could you send me a larger copy of you revised toe? I am having trouble seeing it. Thank you very much, I have a steep slope on my toes and am excited that your toe may actually fit! And I’ve visited your country, I loved it, from the blooming tulip fields to the town square in Delft. OK it would give me nightmares to try to park next to a canal, lol.
Thanks

Just curious about your accordion playing. I happen to be a fan of this marvellous instrument too! What kind of music do you play? I like to play music from Yann Tiersen and even from Metallica!
I’d love to hear from you.

What a coincidence. I’m also playing Yann Tiersen and Metallica. We must have the same teacher! 😉 What other music would you recommend? Something from Pachelbel? Gotan Project also has some amazing music, but probably best with a group. I think I’m going to try something from Bach next.
